THE STUDENTS AND THE GOVERNOR

Last Saturday October 12, Our municipality received the visit of the Department Governor Mir. Richard Aguilar Villa. Villanueva was whole in the main park for listening to the projects the highest authority in Santander is developing in the municipality. Among the people who took part in this important event there were two Eliseo Pinilla Rueda High School students who  by using the English language expressed the gratitude for this important and crucial opportunity to share with the person who is in charge of guiding the department development processes.

The first student talking was Laura Daniela Meza Vesga, a 10^th grade student who focused mainly in the touristic places in Villanueva and invited the Governor to come back to our municipality and take time for knowing the beautiful landscapes and warm people. The leader highlighted the good English level this young has and exalted the great work the school is doing for improving the foreign language learning and the bilingual project in the community.

After her, Yudy Alexandra Chaparro Delgado, our eleventh grade student had the chance to say thanks the Governor for the eight hundred millions donation  in order to build new classrooms in our educative institution and she also invited him to visit Villanueva every time he wants.

At the end of the interventions the Governor congratulated them again and he gave a tablet to each one in order to improve their teaching learning process and of course to promote the English use in a communicative way not only in the students but in all the community.
